While reading a philosophy, it seems to me every line has tons of logical approaches to know more about humanity (almost everything). It is getting exciting as you dive deeper.
I'm not a senior researcher or qualified doctor who does research and discovers something new on his own. As a "naive" in science, I think it is more about learning and memorizing the concepts that already were discovered.
In philosophy, they tell you a line that you have to discover or re-discover on your own. And the most surprising point is scientific truth works out for everyone. But in philosophy you define the truth which may work for only you.
That's why I sometimes prefer to read philosophy rather than science.
