Robotic industry is earning more and more cruciality in human life, with house chores and other tasks at workplace being completed by robots without human involvement. In my opinion, this shift has more possibly positive sides than its negatives.
On the one hand, there is a commonly held concern related to robots and the technological advancement. Some people are worried about the replacement of human workforce by machines and computers, resulting in a massive number of jobless individuals in countries.
Moreover, the involvement of robots to perform house chores seems to be their next negative point. This is perhaps because of sedentary life style and its possibly unfavorable effects to human health, as people do not get physically active to do laundry, gardening or even some cleaning on a daily basis as they would be some time ago.
On the other hand, I, personally, argue that robots can come in handy to improve the life quality for people and productivity in the workplace. People can have more time to engage in their favourite pastimes and bond with their close ones unless they spend considerably more time for daily domestic chores, commissioning robots instead. Hence, considering grueling schedules at work or study, a person cannot stand but opt for purchasing a robot to do housework.
As for the benefits that robots can bring to the workplace, it is certainly related to a higher efficiency rate. It is clear that machines and computers do not require break time for lunch or days off during weekdays, and there is a huge gap in the accuracy rate of robots and individuals. Therefore, gigantic global tech-companies such as Tesla, Space X, Samsung and others in mining industry are increasing the number of automated lines and sectors day by day, hoping to maintain a stable production process.
In conclusion, although bringing in robots to the workplace and homes may seem negative to a certain extent, I tend to say that this opinion can offer more advantages, including enhanced life quality and output at work.
