Farmers in Chile, called seed guardians, save old seeds. These seeds come from the Mapuche people. Mapuche people use them a long time ago.
The guardians plant, trade, and keep many kinds of seeds, like tomatoes and corn. Some seeds do not exist anymore. The weather is changing. Farmers are choosing faster-growing plants.
Some seeds are hard to find now. But they are very important. They help grow new plants when the weather changes. Without these old seeds, some plants will stop growing.
Chef and guardian Pablo Ceres plant many kinds of tomatoes. This year, he has 26 kinds, not just five like before.
Difficult words: guardian (a person who keeps someone or something safe), seed (a small object from which a new plant grows), trade (to do business).

A tiny article on achieving success in life

Many people want to achieve in life, but they fail due to the negative comments, and strokes that jealous people say.
But if you never paid attention to those words, and had enough courage to achieve your goals, later on, these same people would say we told you that someday you will achieve in life.
What you need in life to achieve your goals is strong willpower, consistent hard work, a flexible mind, a confident and strong personality, a willingness to accept challenges, excellent problem-solving skills, a mindset to never give up during obstacles, daring to face the competitors accepting the fact that it is only a one-sided competition and it has nothing to do with you.
Apart from that for achieving your goals and being successful, being hated by a group of people is an indication that you are on the right track, as their hatred is a clear sign of hidden jealousy towards you.
So never doubt your self-worth, or ability, lose self-confidence or end up with low self-esteem assuming that you are worthless counting on toxic people’s attitude towards you.
Instead focus on the positives, then on the people who are motivating, supportive and encouraging you to come up in terms of achieving your goals.
Then accepting the fact that success is not an overnight process.
Even being open to relevant criticisms, and suggestions, then being down to earth is the most important thing for being successful.
No matter what an elderly person or a kid suggests if you find it relevant, just accept their suggestions or feedback, rather ignoring it with a mentality that they don’t know anything.
Attitude matters a lot especially when you want to achieve success in life.
In the last I would conclude with a statement that to be successful, you should never question anyone’s success.
Success is to have a clear direction for myself and work hard to reach that destination. Success is about progress, learning from mistakes, and ultimately feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment in what I have achieved….

The Red Wristband

A doctor was working at a hospital, a hospital where the patients were tagged with coloured bands. Green: alive. Red: deceased.

One night, the doctor was instructed to get a few supplies from the basement of the hospital, and so he headed to the lift. The lift doors opened and there was a patient inside, minding her own business. Patients were allowed to roam around the hospital to stretch, especially those who have stayed long. The rule was to be back in their rooms before ten.

The doctor smiled at the patient before pressing the number for the basement. He found it unusual that the woman didn’t have a button already pressed. He wondered if she was heading to the basement too.

The lift finally reached the floor where the doors opened. In the distance a man was limping towards the elevator, and in a panic the doctor slammed the elevator button to close. It finally did and the lift began to ascend back up, the doctor’s heart pounding.

“Why did you do that? He was trying to use the lift.” The woman stated, annoyed.

“Did you see his wrist?” The doctor asked, “It was red. He died last night. I would know because I did his surgery.”

The woman lifted her wrist. He saw red. She smiled. “Like this one?”
