if one didnt work, the other will. you cant have the best teacher in the world without courage to knowingly go into failure.
perhaps thats the ultimate disadvantage of being smart: you rationalize too much. what if it doesnt work? whats the worst scenario?
i talk to quite a lot of mathematicians and i found - because they are clever - they consider the worst scenario more than average mind. but often this results in indecision.
to their rationalization/objectives, i usually respond by stating garryvee's line:
the odds of you being born as a person instead of not is 400 trillion to 1. do you think any rationalization would result in you being born as a person than not?
you need to force yourself into success. if unsuccessful, consider it was a lesson by the greatest teacher - feedback - remember the 400/1 ratio and go put in the work and be patient.
