The line graph illustrates how many enquires the tourist information office received in a city throughout the 6-year period in 2011.
Overall, it is clear that writing a letter or email was the least used to enquire in the tourist information office whereas the number of meeting face-to-face and telephoning increased considerably over time. We can also see that the biggest increase was observed in the number of enquires in person during the period.
Looking at the graph in more detail, nearly 800 requests made by email or letter in January, but this was followed by a slight decrease to just fewer than 400 in May, and remained stable in the last month.
With regard to telephoning, the figure for that stood at about 900 in January, after which saw a small decline to 800 in February before reaching the highest of its 1600 in May.
Turning to the details of in person enquires in the office, the number of personal meetings started at the lowest of approximately 400 in January; however, this figure hit a peak of about 1900 over the timeframe.
