People have different views as to whether everyone should have a balanced diet as it is the most crucial factor to live a healthy life . While there are clear benefits to eating a balanced diet associated with weight control and moderate intake of nutrients, I believe that people should not only go on a diet, but they also have to spend some time on physical activities such as regular exercises or sports.
There are clear benefits to having a well-balanced diet. When people eat a balanced diet, they will have the right proportion of calories, nutrients and vitamins according to their current age and physical state, which makes it possible to achieve the shape and body they want without risking their lives by searching for other dangerous ways such as weight-losing pills or medical operations. As a result, this increases their confidence, thereby helping them to be both physically and mentally healthy leaving no need to have the aforementioned approaches. In a world where almost every person is ready to have rather dangerous surgical operations seeking beauty, which may end up in a complete disaster or even death, the opportunity that sticking to a balanced diet creates can significantly lower the rates of unsuccessful surgeries caused by pursuit of a healthy and fit body.
However, a balanced diet alone may not be enough to meet the requirements of a healthy life even though it is one of the main factors. To achieve a better state of health, it is necessary to take part in physical activities regularly. If people start to participate in physically active sports such as running and swimming, they will have the chance to not only strengthen their muscles, but also maintain a healthy weight, which boosts their immune system significantly. As a result, they will be less likely to experience chronic health conditions such as obesity or diabetes, potentially increasing their life expectancy and enhancing the overall quality of life. At a time when people suffer from major health issues because of unhealthy eating habits and sedentary lifestyle, active engagement in sports can make a big difference in leading a healthy lifestyle.
In conclusion, although a balanced diet can be an effective and safe approach to live a healthy life to some extent by helping people achieve their desired body shape and higher level of confidence, people have to do sports since the advantages engaging in sports brings - better immune system and reduced risk of long-lasting health disorders - are far greater.
