— Can I visualize it? Can I falsify it? Can nobody else say this? So you get three nos. You've probably written a lot of rubbish. You get three yeses, you're onto something.

— Hackers are people who are good at solving problems and building things, and they believe in building things that make the world a better place.

@Inkspirify

— So what should I do? procrastinate well.

@Inkspirify

— People are problem solvers. It’s a great characteristic and the source of all progress. But when solving problems is core to your identity, you occasionally see trouble where none exists.

— Tell ten people. If they don’t tell the others, make a better product.

— Some “biases” deemed departures from “rationality” by psycholophasters interested in pathologizing humans are not necessarily so if you look at their effect on the collective.

@Inkspirify

— The psychological experiments on individuals showing “biases” do not allow us to understand aggregates or collective behavior, nor do they enlighten us about the behavior of groups.

— If you thought that science was certain—well, that is just an error on your part. (Feynman)

@Inkspirify

— Failure is the reflection of expectation. Without expectation, “failure” does not exist. Being afraid to fail can often lead to inaction. I’ve made many mistakes, but I see them as lessons to move forward. There’s no failure in making mistakes; it’s only a failure when we have too much pride to fix them.

Niche?

A while ago, I created this channel. Since then, one phrase has haunted me: "You need a niche." Every time I hear it, my brain short-circuits.

"You’ve got a bit of everything."

“What are you passionate about?” they ask.
Uh, everything?

"No"

“What do you really love talking about?”
Startups. Physics. Street food. Life stuff. Big Ideas. Philosophy. Creativity. Community. Love. The whole messy, beautiful human experience. Space, breathing, football, meditation—and so much more. It’s all connected.

The truth is, I started my channel to make real connections. To find people who vibe with the same randomness that lights me up. Not just online, but in real life.

So yeah, niches are cool. Great for algorithms, brands, and blowing up. But this channel? It’s about you. Me. Us. Sharing whatever’s on our minds, no matter how scattered or strange.

I can promise you one thing: this journey? It could go anywhere.

— Some good advice is simple but made complicated because professionals can’t charge fees for simple stuff. The fact that you can’t charge fees for it is part of what makes it good advice.

— People like weekends because it’s when they have the most control over their time; financial goals should keep this in mind.

@Inkspirify

— You’re not obligated to have opinion about anything. Unless you’re paid to do so. You’re obligated to not have an opinion about things you don’t understand. Unless you’re paid to do so. Be wary of people who are paid to give opinions.

@Inkspirify

— We often avoid taking action because we think “I need to learn more,” but the best way to learn is often by taking action.

@Inkspirify

— The right questions often stand between you and what you want.

@Inkspirify

— Everyone is heavily influenced by what they’ve experienced firsthand, because what you’ve experienced is more persuasive than something you read about. Even our understanding of firsthand experience is sketchy, because we oversimplify what happened and self-justify our involvement. Those who didn’t experience an event firsthand have an even weaker grasp on reality because they can cherry pick the oversimplified, self-justified arguments and data from people with firsthand experience. So everyone has delusions about how the world works. You, me, everyone.

@Inkspirify

— The fact that you “can’t do” something can be embarrassing. But if you are “learning to do” something that is admirable. There are only tiny baby steps between can’t and learning.

@Inkspirify

— The two most celebrated acts of courage in history aren’t Homeric fighters but two Eastern Mediterranean fellows who died, even sought death, for their ideas.

@Inkspirify

— Those who have nothing to prove never say that they have nothing to prove.

@Inkspirify

— The traits I respect are erudition and the courage to stand up when half-men are afraid for their reputation. Any idiot can be intelligent.
