I don’t want to toot my own horn, but as I know English better than any of my acquaintances, my close people usually happen to ask me to lend a hand when they need some assistance with their English exam preparations. Until now, I have helped almost all of my relatives, especially those who are majoring in English. For example, a few months ago, when it was just around the corner from the start of university exams, my cousin Tohir wanted me to explain some of the basic rules of English grammar.
Given that our connections are pretty tight, I couldn’t say no to him, and then we buckled up. Unfortunately, it turned out that Tohir did not know anything about English, and he could not even introduce himself in proper language. Realizing this, the very first thing we did was make up a decent plan tailored to his needs. We only had a couple of weeks until his exam, so we started right after finishing the plan. And speaking of it, I added the most fundamental topics, like ordinal and cardinal numbers, definite and indefinite articles, and also some tenses – present simple, present continuous, and so on.
We used to look through each of these topics early in the morning. He had been very dedicated throughout those whole 14 days. His commitment just blew my mind and urged me to help him as much as I could. He had a very sharp mind, or even I can say I had never seen someone absorb new information like him before. I did not have any clue why he had just wasted the entire semester. When I questioned him about the reason, he just said he had not had enough passion before. After just two weeks, he had learned all those topics inside out and become fully ready for the exam.
Ultimately, he nearly managed to get what he wanted. Yeah, although we had been aiming for a perfect A, he ended up with a B, which was totally satisfying. Hearing this, I had nothing to say but just to praise his diligence and strong will, which helped him overcome the issue.
Corrected version, I just loved this response, and didnot want to refine anything here. I will keep it
