Nowadays some consumers are less influenced by advertising than in the past.
What are the reasons? Is it a positive or negative development?
In today’s interconnected world, the impact of advertisements on people’s life is lowering in contrast to the past. While this can be attributed to a number of factors such as the loss of trust and gradual boredom watching them untimely, I contend that this change can serve as a valuable key to success.
People, nowadays, find advertisements relatively less influential due to a couple of reasons. First and foremost, they truly believe that watching ads can no longer be beneficial enough to improve their life since their reliability has already become a rarity. This is because the inevitable failure coming from trying new things by following actually fake advertisements make people give up their long-term goals and lose hope towards anything for eternity. Aside from this, a vast majority of people have a feeling of boredom when they watch unwanted ads during using numerous online platforms, particularly, games and social media in which they are easily annoyed by being forced to watch temporary videos in essential times. Thousands of advertisements momentarily shown on live broadcasts can serve as a real example since they not only make people feel embarrassed, but also evokes mistrust among them in the end.
Taking above-mentioned points into account, people’s overlooking advertisements can be a valuable tool in the betterment of their future life. For instance, subscribing to premium websites that offer no ads service to the users, people will be able to watch live streams enjoyably and use the platforms for their work without being distracted by frequent pop-up ads. More importantly, people will start paying close attention to the recent life experiences of the others ensuring long-waited success after their much effort. It is no surprise that these shifts can encourage people to hope for everything achievable in this life so that they can contribute to the development of the society.
In conclusion, whereas a lack of belief towards advertisements and feeling overwhelmed watching them at any time are the main reasons why people are no longer influenced by them, avoiding these promotions, people will find better options to achieve their goals without experiencing any further stress.
