🎓 👨🏫 🔵 The British Council Uzbekistan, in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, the Ministry of Pre-School and School Education, Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, and Tashkent State Pedagogical University, through the Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia (AELLCA) programme, brings UK expertise to meet the needs of the national education reform agendas across the region. In 2024–2025, efforts are focused on integrating reflective practice and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) into teacher training.
🌎 On 9–11 January 2025, an intensive CPD programme for 165 professionals was held at the University of World Languages in Tashkent. Educators from 🇺🇿Uzbekistan, 🇰🇿 Kazakhstan, 🇹🇯 Tajikistan, 🇰🇬 Kyrgyzstan, and 🇹🇲 Turkmenistan gathered to enhance English language teaching across Central Asia.
