My essay for this topic

In the last years, most countries' people are living longer than before. There are disadvantages such as overpopulation and not enough working places, but we do not have to overlook the advantages such as getting experience and love from elderly people, from my perspective.

Nowadays, living-potential of people is getting increased because of any human creations or modern medicines. This event causes some big problems, including overpopulation. Overpopulation results in lack of food and living areas and if this situation is solved, many poor countries' life is gotten well. Similarly, getting increased of living potential also causes deficiency of working places. Because of that many metropolises' people become homeless and if working companies or areas are enough, these people will live better.

Turning into the advantages, firstly, we may get some information about life or our job from other elderly people or our grandparents. They would see many struggle situations and having their information can help us to overcome problems which are like theirs. If we overlook their suggestions, we may face challenges and overwhelming troubles, and also they give us love. Because of that our living hopes are getting increased. Therefore I believe elderly people give more benefits than drawbacks.

In conclusion, although living longer cause some problems such as shortage of working places and food, its advantages can not be overlooked due to life experience and creating living hope.

In many countries people are now living longer than ever before. Some people say an ageing population creates problems for governments. Other people think there are benefits if society has more elderly people.

To what extent do the advantages of having an ageing population outweigh the disadvantages?
