A good case in point is South Korea, where clinicians and technicians who have worked abroad have introduced advanced medical technologies and high-tech engineering solutions, ultimately leading to improvements in both the healthcare system and infrastructure.

In general, despite acknowledging the arguments in favor of working in one’s home country—especially in terms of alleviating local shortages and fostering national growth—I remain convinced that well-trained physicians and engineers should have the freedom to seek career advancement on an international scale. Only by giving them the opportunity to explore global opportunities can we enhance our country’s capabilities and bring back valuable knowledge and innovations.
